Home Office immigration and nationality fee increase

The Home Office has published their annual fee increase, which will take effect from 6 April 2022. The increases range from £5 to £30 with the majority of the increases being at £15.

Naturalisation applications

Although the total cost for a naturalisation application has not changed from £1,330.00 (which includes the £80.00 fee for the citizenship ceremony), the Home Office website no longer includes the ceremony fee in the total as a matter of course.

The Home Office website now states that the fee for naturalisation applications is £1,250.00, with a footnote explaining the additional costs. Therefore, although the price appears to be lower on the Home Office website, the fee for this application has not changed.
