UK Immigration
Broadly speaking, there are a number of common documents which will need to be submitted with your application.
You will need to provide evidence of your partner’s status in the UK and of your genuine and subsisting relationship. You will also need to provide evidence that you have sufficient knowledge of the English language, unless you are exempt due to age or disability.
The specific documents needed to evidence the financial requirement will depend on how you are meeting it, for example, by way of income or savings. Generally speaking, you will need to provide evidence covering a period of six months prior to the date of your application. Determining the necessary documentation to be submitted with an FLR(M) application is often a difficult task due to the highly personalised nature of such applications.
