The Russian Foreign Ministry has added 21 members of the UK Parliament to its “stop list”. Among those sanctioned are six members of the House of Lords and 15 members of the House of Commons. Individuals on this list are banned from entering Russia. In its press release issued on 23 April, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the measures were introduced in response to the “continuing confrontational course of London”, the UK’s “anti-Russia sanctions” and “hostile statements… by members of the UK Parliament”.
