UK passport application fees are about to increase next month. Here is what you need to know:
The UK government will introduce new passport fees for all applications from 2 February 2023. This is important information for anyone planning to apply for a UK passport or renew an existing one in the next few weeks. You may wish to apply before the new, higher fees come into force.
For those applying online, the fee for a standard adult passport will rise from £75.50 to £82.50. Similarly, the fee for a child (under 16 years of age) passport will increase from the current price of £49 to £53.50.
For those applying through a Post Office service, the fees will rise from £85 to £93 for adult passports and from £58.50 to £64 for children’s passports.
