UK Immigration
Since 1 January 2021, EU, EEA and Swiss nationals who were not previously resident in the UK have been permitted to enter the UK as non-visa national visitors for periods of up to 6 months per trip.
Visitors in the UK are permitted to attend meetings and interviews, but they are strictly prohibited from taking employment in the UK, doing work for a business in the UK and/or establishing or running their own business.
If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss national now seeking to come to the UK for work, generally, this will require you to apply for and obtain a work visa in advance of relocating to the UK. In most circumstances, you will need to have an offer of employment from an organisation that is authorised by the Home Office to sponsor overseas workers. Most UK work visas have minimum skill, salary and English language ability requirements.
