VFS Global Closures

UK Immigration

Following local government advice, the UKVI Visa Processing Centre in New York is now temporarily closed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some applicants are receiving their passports and other supporting documents via courier and are being told that their applications are on hold until further notice, pending a decision. Applicants have been advised that when centers re-open, there will be instructions on the VFS Global website on how to proceed with an application.

Please note that a similar notice may be given by other VFS centers globally. For further information regarding other closures please see: https://www.vfsglobal.com/en/individuals/covid-19-customer-advisories.html
