Access UK is a new digital visa application service, introduced by the Home Office, for applicants wishing to apply online for Visitor Visas to the UK.

After the successful launch of Access UK in China and Turkey, applicants in over 180 countries wishing to come to the UK on a Standard Visitor Visa, Marriage Visitor Visa or Permitted Paid Engagement Visa, are now able to make use of the Access UK service.

This new service, which can be accessed by following the link: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/uk-visit-visa, is available in 10 different languages and will allow applicants to benefit from much shorter and easier visa application forms, with logically ordered questions, tailored to the specific visa category. Access UK is also available on mobile devices, enabling applicants to complete forms on smartphones or tablets.

This service also allows applicants applying for Schengen Visas, at the same time as their UK Visitor Visas, to download partially completed Schengen application forms containing relevant information populated from their Access UK online application.

Access UK is currently offered in parallel with the Visa4UK website however, there have been over 500,000 Visitor Visa applications received by this new service, the Home Office hopes it will replace Visa4UK, in an attempt make UK visa applications more convenient.

If you require any further information on the above-mentioned Home Office service or would like to know whether you are eligible to make use of the service, please do not hesitate to contact Gherson where a member of our team will gladly assist you.
