Covid Taskforce – The End Of The Honeymoon As The Nightmare Continues 

We explore here the Taxpayer Protection Taskforce, announced by The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, on 3 March 2021. As we hope to start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in terms of the Coronavirus restrictions, the UK Government now turns its attention on getting the economy back on track and it appears this Taskforce is the first step in that challenge.

Ukraine Expands List of Visa Free Countries

As we are all well aware, now is not the time to be travelling around the world, and many countries have closed their borders. Ukraine, however, has implemented a visa-free regime with a number of countries including Curacao, Aruba and Grenada.

It was also confirmed that British citizens can continue to visit Ukraine without a visa (and stay for up to 90 days within a 180-day period) until 30 January 2022. See the full blog, posted 3 March 2021.

Do You Want To Study In The UK? You May Need A Student Visa 

As part of the new Points Based System which took effect from 1 December 2020, the previous Tier 4 (General) Student Visa was replaced with the new Student Visa immigration category.
