COVID-19: Right to Work check extended

The Home Office have confirmed that the provisions providing flexibility for Work Checks will be extended until 1 September 2021, although the official update has yet to be published on the Gov.uk website.

What is dual criminality in extradition?

In short, dual criminality is the requirement in international extradition law that the offence the requested person is accused of committing, or has been convicted of and is required to serve a sentence for, in the requesting state, is also an offence under domestic law in the state from which extradition is sought. EU Settlement Scheme: One week to go

The deadline for applications under the EU Settlement Scheme is 30 June 2021. All EU, EEA and Swiss citizens who were resident in the UK prior to 31 December 2020 must apply for status under this scheme prior to the deadline in order to secure their rights in the UK.
