Mattey Avgustinov


Mattey is a solicitor in our General Immigration Department. He is primarily instructed on applications for Tier 1 Migrants and PBS Dependant Migrants, as well as Family and Private Life visa applications, applications by EEA nationals, and various types of citizenship applications. Mattey also has experience in dealing with applications by Tier 2 Migrants, in relation to discretionary immigration and citizenship applications, as well as with challenging refusals by the Home Office.

Mattey completed the Legal Practice Course in 2017 at the City, University of London having previously obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law with Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire in 2015. Mattey has worked at Gherson since 2017 and qualified as a Solicitor in December 2019.
