Angela Lei

Consultant Solicitor

After obtaining a PhD from the London School of Economics, Angela joined Gherson and Gherson’s sister firm Discreet Law LLP to develop and expand the firm’s exposure in Asia, particularly China. Angela subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales.

Currently as a consultant solicitor at Gherson, Angela manages a diversified and international client portfolio. She specialised in economics and finance during her studies, giving Angela an excellent understanding of many of our clients’ corporate and personal needs.

Having grown up in China and subsequently lived in the UK for over 15 years, Angela is familiar with the Western practice and also has insight into China’s culture-important way of conducting business, which puts her in a great position to assist clients from various backgrounds and communication between the East and West. She also has extensive experience dealing with Chinese investors and multinational companies. Angela is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
