Xinyi joined Gherson in September 2022. She has a wealth of legal expertise and experience advising high-profile private and corporate clients on various aspects of UK immigration law. She specialises in corporate and private immigration law, working closely with individuals, multinational corporations across various industries and family offices.
With a dual legal background in China and the UK, Xinyi obtained a dual degree in Law and English from a top-tier university in China before obtaining a Master’s degree (LLM) from the University of Leeds. Prior to joining Gherson, she trained at a prestigious Red Circle law firm in Shanghai, where she gained valuable experience handling complex legal matters for international clients.
Fluent in both English and Chinese, Xinyi possesses a unique ability to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps, ensuring seamless communication with clients from diverse backgrounds. Her deep understanding of both legal systems and cultural differences enables her to provide strategic and tailored advice to clients navigating the complexities of UK immigration law.
