Nina joined Gherson in January 2026, and now contributes to the firm’s complex and high-profile cross-border matters relating to international sanctions, arbitration and litigation. Nina has a particular interest and experience in sanctions, international commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration and commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Gherson, Nina gained valuable experience in international arbitration and commercial litigation at other UK law firms and across several leading UK chambers, where she supported King’s Counsel. Nina also held an advisory role at the House of Lords, where she assisted a prominent global businessman and Peer. These positions allowed her to develop her understanding of national and international commercial law within a range of different fields and contexts.
Nina holds an LLM (in Corporate and Commercial Law) and has completed the GDL and LPC. Prior to that, she obtained an MA Hons (Cantab) degree in Biological Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and undertook a course in Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
At Gherson, Nina aims to build upon her knowledge and experience in sanctions and international arbitration and to establish herself as an expert in these fields.
