Ligh is a paralegal in the Civil Litigation and Arbitration team at Gherson LLP.

She has a background in Criminal Litigation and Human Rights, having worked in the Magistrate Prosecutor’s Office in South Africa. During this time, she gained experience in criminal disputes, as well as supporting arbitration proceedings.

Ligh has also worked for the UN Human Rights Commission and, more recently, with DLA Piper’s Responsible Business team.

Currently, Ligh is actively involved in high-profile cross-border litigation and arbitration cases within Gherson’s Disputes team, while also assisting the International Protection team. Ligh’s focus is on developing expertise in civil disputes and international protection matters.

In addition to her professional work, Ligh supports a prison reform project, helping reintegrate and empower women following their release from prison.
