How do I obtain a UK passport urgently?

HM Passport Office have now re-instated the Fast-track options for passport renewals and replacement applications. This service was temporarily suspended as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and this re-opening will be a relief to many applicants who require their passport for urgent travel.

The Fast-track service is also available for children applying for their first British passport, so long as the relevant requirements are met. We discuss here the eligibility factors and outline the Fast-track options available.
