Junior Secretary and Personal Assistant

The successful candidate will undertake basic legal secretarial, reception and administrative duties as well as train as a personal assistant.

  • Have some experience of working in a law firm
  • Enjoy a busy and pressured work environment

Immigration paralegal 

We have a vacancy for an immigration paralegal to work directly with Roger Gherson.

This role would suit a candidate who has  some immigration law experience and is interested in human rights, asylum and extradition and would like to develop their legal career in these areas of law. To secure this role you will need to be utterly reliable, hardworking and quick to grasp and carry out instruction.  You will also need to have exceptional written and spoken English and very good attention to detail. 

Ideally you will need to have completed your LPC and be in a position to take up a training contract in due course.

Russian speaking solicitor or LPC graduate

We are currently recruiting for a newly qualified Russian speaking immigration solicitor with good experience in a broad range of immigration law, in particular private client work.  We would also consider applications from LPC graduates, who have the requisite experience of working in private client immigration and who are in a position to fulfil a training contract in due course.  Over and above a thorough knowledge of current immigration law and the changes anticipated in 2021, excellent spoken and written English is essential.  We strive to provide the best customer service we can at Gherson, and this position would suit a practitioner, with the same commitment to their clients.
