Innovator Founder Visa: Do I need a business plan for endorsement?

08 Sep 2023, 07 mins ago

A detailed business plan is absolutely necessary in order to secure endorsement as an Innovator Founder.

There are currently three Home Office-approved endorsing bodies for Innovator Founder visas. You will be able to apply for an Innovator Founder visa only after securing an endorsement from one of these three organisations.

Each of the endorsing bodies will have a unique application process, but in all cases, they will expect to see a detailed business plan for your proposed UK business.

Your business plan will need to highlight the ways in which your proposed UK business is innovative, viable and scalable. The innovation criterion should focus on how your proposed concept is bringing something new to the UK market, or significantly improving a product or service already available in the market. The viability criterion should concentrate on your skills, experience and resources to develop your UK business. The scalability criterion should focus on demonstrating a demand for your products or services within the UK, and in the future, internationally.

If you have an early stage business idea in mind and are considering the Innovator Founder visa, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us for a consultation.
