Immigration and Human Rights Lawyer (EU Qualified)

*You must be qualified to practice as a lawyer in the EU.

Main Responsibilities

• EU inbound immigration routes including Schengen visa applications
• Irish FBR and Passport applications
• Drafting in French
• Working knowledge of legal proceedings before the Belgian or French courts
• Knowledge of the Refugee convention, and European and International human rights law (desirable).

Skills

• Written and spoken fluency in French and English
• Excellent drafting ability
• Outstandiნg knowledge of immigration law and the industry as a whole
• Must be able to advise, internally and externally, across all areas of EU immigration law
• Excellent client management and customer care skills
• Demonstrable ability to lead a team with good organisational and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all regulatory and compliance obligations
• Strong commercial acumen and experience in creating new client relationships
• High attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Called to the bar in either France or Belgium (preferred)
• EU qualified lawyer (essential)
• Fluent professional French and English (essential).
