We are looking for an interim Head of Talent and Recruitment, with strong recruitment and talent acquisition experience ideally gained in a legal or professional services environment, to join our HR department on a twelve-month Fixed Term Contract.

Taking ownership and managing recruitment at all levels, the Head of Talent and Recruitment will deliver effective and inclusive recruitment solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, passionate and commercially-minded individual who is keen to immerse themselves in a fast‐paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

Proactively developing effective working relationships with partners and line managers across the firm.

Providing advice, guidance and support in order to deliver a consistent and fair approach to all recruitment and talent acquisition.

Managing the end-to-end recruitment process across all levels, including:

  • Determining recruitment needs and reacting to recruitment requests
  • Using direct and indirect sourcing methods and identifying the best strategies to attract individuals at all levels
  • Creating and posting adverts
  • Maintaining up-to-date job descriptions
  • Proactively using recruitment platforms to advertise roles
  • Sourcing good calibre candidates
  • Undertaking all initial interviews
  • Arranging and attending interviews at all levels with heads of team and other relevant staff
  • Making offers of employment and securing in principle agreement to terms
  • Declining unsuccessful candidates
  • Maintaining all recruitment records, using our in-house platform
  • Creating innovative hiring solutions, which are adaptable to the ever‐changing market
  • Ensuring the company’s diversity and inclusion objectives are aligned with recruitment strategies
  • Managing data to drive recruitment decisions and preparing recruitment reports.

 

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in a similar strategic and operational Legal Talent and Recruitment role, gained within a legal or professional services environment.

  • Experienced in recruitment at all levels
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering recruitment solutions and projects on time and within budget
  • Solid track record of working with senior management
  • Ability to use data successfully to assist decision making and reporting
  • Excellent project management skills.
