Tier 1 (Investor) Visa Route Not Yet Suspended

11 Dec 2018, 28 mins ago

Following widespread media coverage at the end of last week that the Tier 1 Investor visa route had been suspended, yesterday the Immigration Law Practitioners Association (“ILPA”) confirmed that the route had not yet been suspended.

ILPA has confirmed with the Home Office that the Tier 1 Investor route is still in operation and has not yet been suspended. However, the Home Office have been unable to confirm if and when the Tier 1 Investor scheme will be suspended pending the implementation of the new rules.

ILPA has voiced their concern about the uncertainty caused by the changing narrative, and we would take this opportunity to echo these concerns.

Gherson will be monitoring the situation as it unfolds. For further information please contact us
