From April 2023, the UK government has removed the £50k minimum funds requirement and relaxed existing restrictions on innovators engaging in employment outside the running of their business.

Global Talent visa

The Global Talent visa is another visa scheme aimed at attracting talented workers to the UK. This visa is open to individuals with exceptional talent or promise in their field, whether in science, engineering, humanities, or the arts. To be eligible for a Global Talent visa, you must be endorsed by a recognized UK body in your field or have won a specific prestigious award. This visa scheme is particularly attractive to tech workers with a strong research background or involvement in cutting-edge projects.
