29 Nov 2018, 24 mins ago

Last week, Thomas Garner attended the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights’ Forum on Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law. This was a high-level two-day event held at the United Nations building in Geneva.

The event, which came shortly before the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human rights, was a great success and bought together senior practitioners, human rights activists, diplomats and permanent representatives of the UN member states.

Gherson are recognised experts in international human rights and refugee law and are often invited to attend similar high-level events. Thomas Garner has recently spoken at events at the European Parliament in Brussels and also the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
