Caroline Black featured in Police Professional on judicial reform and the use of OOCRs in complex fraud cases
Caroline Black, consultant at Gherson Solicitors LLP, comments on proposed reforms to address delays in serious fraud trials:
“While it is true that fraud and corruption cases can be complex, the right to a fair trial, judged by a jury of one’s peers is not something which should be easily disposed of. Juries can be counted on to make the right decision even in complex circumstances.”
