Sopra Steria: UKVCAS Service Update

09 Oct 2020, 43 mins ago

UKVCAS biometric appointments have returned to the normal system of booking appointment slots for personal attendance at Sopra Steria biometric appointment centres.

All applicants who submit applications to the Home Office domestically from 2 October 2020 will no longer have the option of using the new IDV biometric enrollment system and will be invited to book a biometrics appointment, as was the system prior to the Coronavirus lockdown.

The exception is Tier 4 Students, who will continue to use the IDV app as opposed to booking an in-person biometrics appointment.

If you have already used the IDV app to submit your biometrics in conjunction with a recent Home Office application, there is no need to take any action, as your application will continue to be processed normally. This update relates only to applications made from 2 October 2020 onwards.

If you require any further information in respect of biometric enrolment or appointments, please do not hesitate to contact us.
